Well, uh.

[He clears his throat, then takes a breath. This is hard... even harder than Day Two of Inter-high, than that start and the song to challenge a hundred cyclists. It's hard--but it must be done. He takes a breath, then looks at Onoda again.]

So... when you gave me that rose. When I yelled at you. All that stuff... I'm sorry. I'll just be really honest with you, Onoda. I don't really know what happened, but I shouldn't have yelled at you for any of that. I don't hate you, and I don't mean anything I said. [He sighs, leaning back against the bench.] I was really mean. I can get if you hate me after this, because I was really, truly awful. But I had to tell you sorry in person. You deserve that much from me.

[gachas]

[his eyes widen a little as he listens to what tadokoro has to say. hate... him? onoda doesn't have it in his soul to hate anybody, much less tadokoro-san! besides he knows that the other truly didn't mean what he said. even if it felt real at the time. vietnam-san definitely helped clear things up with him though. anyways, he frowns.] I'm not going to do that Tadokoro-san! I know that... I know that you didn't mean all of those things. Someone also told me that the landlord liked playing tricks on all of us, and that you were going to act strange because of it.

[That reaction is completely surprising, but it's nice. It's nice knowing that Onoda actually figured out more about this place than he did, and much easier on his heart knowing that his little buddy didn't hate him. With a growing smile, Tadokoro just reached over to ruffle Onoda's hair.]

You're too good to me, Onoda! It was a pretty awful trick, but I'm glad. I'm real glad. I owe you a lot.

[well. to be honest someone told him what was up with the attitude change. but avoiding him while he was like that only seemed to be the best way to handle things. and as much as he hated it, he's just... really glad that the other is back to his senses. a smile graces his lips as he leans in towards the other when he reaches out to ruffle his hair.]

It's okay Tadokoro-san! I know that you didn't mean any of it. I'm just glad you're back to your usual self.

[Onoda is the most wonderful golden child. The fact that he's so forgiving just spreads a warmth through his chest, and he feels so much better. He moves his hand back after a moment, just grinning.]

Same here, Onoda. Hating someone like you is really hard. I feel really bad about it. So whatever you want me to do, or watch with you, or make for ya. I'll do it.

[gachas]

[he was about to wave it off once again, but... he did say that he'd watch whatever he wants with onoda. and... he looks at tadokoro with huge sparkly eyes.] You mean it?

[Tadokoro can't see anything good of this. But he puts on his biggest grin and nods.]

I sure do! Anything you want!

[gachas]

[he smiles and... are there tears of happiness!?!? i think so!!!] I-- okay! I'll try to find something really good for us to watch then!

[Oh god is he going to make him cry? He sure hopes not...]

I'm sure you'll find somethin' good. Surprise me!

Okay Tadokoro-san! I'll definitely try to find the best one!

[shhs it'd be tears of happiness]

I believe in you, Onoda! [And another pat of the head. He appreciates ya, kid.]

[he beams up happily at the other.] Thank you very much Tadokoro-san!!

[And with another laugh, Tadokoro moves back and leans in the chair, grinning.] Y'know, meetin' up with you makes the day feel a whole lot nicer.

[his eyes widen a little.] Thank you Tadokoro-san! Meeting up with you makes my day feel a lot nicer as well! I can't wait to get a bicycle again so I can bike around with you and the others.

I'm sure you'll get one soon! Maybe we should go bike shopping for you sometime.
